Geroskipou
Short answer
Geroskipou is a separate municipality on the eastern edge of Paphos, a few kilometres from the harbour. It is best known for its loukoumi (Cyprus delight), which has protected geographical status, and for the Byzantine church of Agia Paraskevi with its five domes. Its seafront has a long municipal beach.
What to do in Geroskipou
- Agia Paraskevi church — a Byzantine church with five domes arranged in a cross, one of the more unusual churches in the Paphos area. Allow 20–30 minutes.
- Loukoumi shops — Geroskipou loukoumi has PGI status in the EU. Shops in the town centre sell it; tasting before you buy is common.

Geroskipou combines naturally with a drive east to Kouklia and Petra tou Romiou, which are on the same coast road.
