Chloraka

Short answer

Chloraka is a former village that has grown into a residential and resort suburb immediately north of Paphos. It is quieter than Kato Paphos, with several large resort hotels along the coast, and is a short drive or bus ride from the harbour.

Updated Practical details (hours, prices) not yet verified — check official sources.

Who Chloraka suits

Chloraka works if you have chosen a specific resort hotel and plan to spend a good part of the trip at it. Distances to the Tombs of the Kings and Kato Paphos are short by car or bus but long enough on foot that you will think twice in summer heat.

If you want to walk to dinner and the harbour every evening, Kato Paphos is the better base. If you want a beach rather than a pool, look at Coral Bay further north.

Good for

  • Resort hotels
  • A quieter base close to town

Not ideal for

  • Walking to restaurants and sights
  • Nightlife
